In the event of a life-threatening obstruction of the upper airway, especially in a non-clinical situation, performing a tracheostomy can often ensure the dog's survival. Based on countless requests from military and emergency customers, we are pleased to introduce the Louie Tracheotomy Model. A coniotomy can also be performed on the model. Incisions can be made in the skin layers, in the cricothyroid ligament, and between the tracheal rings.
Louie comes with three interchangeable tracheas and skins and an artificial lung. Incisions and sutures can be made on the skins and the trachea. Additional skins and tracheas can be ordered separately. The model does not contain artificial blood.
