This special version is used to illustrate the CMD syndrome. craniomandibular dysfunction is a functional disorder in the interaction between the temporomandibular joints, chewing muscles and teeth. The wear of the tooth enamel due to grinding, wear of the discus and the relevant masticatory muscles masseter, pars superficialis, pars profundus and the relatively newly discovered pars coronoidea are shown. All three muscles are detachable.
