Nurse's watch, high quality, watch, nurse's coat watch

The nurse's watch or also nurse's watch is a watch that is normally used by nursing staff in clinics or assistants in doctors' surgeries.

For reasons of hygiene, the nurse's watch is not worn on the wrist but attached to a short chain. This makes it similar to the pocket watch, but unlike the latter, it is not carried in the pocket of the pants or vest, but is often attached to the clothing by means of a clip. This was traditionally the nurse's apron. The chain of the nurse's watch is shorter and often wider than that of the pocket watch.

A striking difference to the pocket watch is that the dial is rotated by 180°. The dial of the nurse's watch still shows scales that make it easier to measure a patient's pulse, for example. -
