Acapella® duet
for effective mucus clearance
Positive expiratory pressure (PEP) therapy is used to mobilize secretions. Acapella® duet combines the benefits of PEP therapy with airway vibration to mobilize pulmonary secretions. It can be used in virtually any position. Facilitates the opening of the airways in patients with lung diseases and secretion problems such as COPD, asthma and cystic fibrosis. The frequency and flow resistance can be easily adjusted by turning the Acapella® adjustment wheel. With Acapella® Duet, medication can be administered at the same time, saving time and effort for both doctor and patient. Portex® Acapella® duet is equipped with an integrated port for aerosol medication by means of a small-volume nebulizer and thus enables practical administration of bronchodilators or mucolytic agents at the same time as vibrating PEP therapy without the need for an additional T-adapter.
The Acapella® duet is a respiratory physiotherapy device for effective mucus clearance.
