The optional "prismaAQUA" humidifier is used in combination with the therapy devices in the prismaLINE / prisma VENT series to treat dry upper airways and breathing air that is perceived as too cold.
Many patients suffer from dehydration of their mucous membranes during treatment. This can result in painful inflammation and nosebleeds. Regular use and acceptance of the therapy is then often jeopardized. Heatable humidifiers, such as the prismaAQUA, can provide a remedy.
In order not to break the uniform design of all devices in the prismaLINE series, the humidifier is available in two versions:
- White for ventilators (prisma VENT series)
- Black for sleep apnea therapy devices (prismaLine series)
